Multiple Hurt as In-Flight Disturbance Hits Delta Flight Landing at Sydney, Australia
Multiple passengers and crew were hurt following a Delta jet traveling from Los Angeles to Sydney encountered rough air this past Friday.
Delta Flight 41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it made its approach and landed at Sydney Airport, a representative for the carrier told. Several cabin crew members required medical attention.
Emergency medical services said they treated a total of five people, and transferred three of them to the hospital with relatively minor issues that such as back pain and migraines. Those affected spanned from their 30s to 70s.
